A Bad Case of Stripes

Camilla wants to like everyone else, so she won't eat lima beans. Next thing you know Camilla is sick with the stripes, stars and polka dots. Her body keeps changing color and no one can help her. A kindly old woman shows up and gives Camilla some lima beans. Camilla is not only cured, but she knows it's ok to like things nobody else does.

This image was my classroom door for Bookfair. It won first place!

I am so excited about the two books I have just READ!  Twisted and My Brother Sam is Dead.  Both were amazing books with some situations that would be considered controversial.  I found both books to be true to life.  The experiences were of a sound nature and fitting for the right audience.

Twisted written by Laurie Halse Anderson
My Brother Sam is Dead written by James Collier and Christopher Collier
